Building that I have visited
Peleș Castle
Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, built between 1873 and 1914. This autumn I visited it the second time and I was impressed by that construction once more. It was designed by two architects Johannes Schultz and Karel Liman, for King Carol I. One of the things that acted on my retina was that each room has its own style; there are no two rooms decorated in the same manner in the entire building. Another thing that impressed me was the number of wood types used; on some walls there are drawings made of different wood essences; this was very very impressive.
